Every variation of a task, side by side.
teleon.dev/docs/variants stores each variation of a task as its own flat row and attaches working-directory advisories in layers, so experiments stay comparable and the original stays intact.
| Row | Change | Advisory | Score |
|---|---|---|---|
| t_5521 | baseline | task row only | 74 |
| t_5521.v2 | persona: maintainer | L0 card | 79 |
| t_5521.v3 | locale: de | L1 glossary | 71 |
| t_5521.v4 | persona: security | L1 dataset | 81 |
Each variant changes one thing and keeps a link to the parent row.
What it does
One row per variation
Each variant is a complete, self-contained row with a link to its parent.
Layered advisories
Datasets, tools, repos and hooks attach as optional layers L0 to L4.
Scores travel along
Orthogonal 0 to 100 scores sit on each row for comparison.
The contract
Rows are append-only; advisories mount alongside a task as optional help.

- Idempotent
- Safe to repeat: running the same request twice leaves the same result as running it once.
- Holdout
- Test data kept apart from training and tuning, so scores on it show real performance.
