Pause failing calls, then recover gently.
teleon.dev/docs/breakers keeps a three-state circuit breaker for every lane and tunes concurrency to measured latency, so a slow dependency gets breathing room before it takes others with it.
Most lanes run closed. The render lane is trying a few calls in half-open before it closes again.
What it does
Three states
Closed passes traffic, open pauses it, half-open tries a few calls before closing again.
Concurrency that adapts
Each lane's concurrency follows its measured latency, by Little's law.
Per lane
One lane's trouble stays inside that lane.
The contract
Breaker state and concurrency limits are published per lane and read by the router.

How it connects
For agents
Give your agent the read-only guide first. It reports back before any write.
Words on this page
- Circuit breaker
- A switch per lane that pauses calls to a failing dependency and retries carefully once it recovers.
- Canary
- A small share of traffic or checks run against a change first, so a problem shows up early and stays small.
